Healthy makes Happy

In life, at first, we are given a perfect well-defined body, for about 20 years…  after that we are on own…on our own! 

After all, we are given all that time to prep for what’s coming after 20 and do something to keep up well-defined ‘bad’ body, but do we, do you? 

We are handed just ONE body, but some of us live like we have another one stored away until we need it…how hilarious!

Regardless of whether we upkeep or not, we don’t have to doom ourselves and acquiesce into body deterioration either.  As the 20 years past we are given signals: an ache here or there; an energy drag, however some of us just choose to limp our way thru life & tell everyone about it.  Caution: be mindful not to toss your ailments to others, most likely you will mistake them for someone who cares.

Try using these sensible tips to live by, for your mental and physical well-being:

Basic health recipe:
Good nutrition
– reduce salt, sugar, complex carbohydrates
– increase greens, grains & nuts, vegetables, fruits

Frequent exercise: helps to keep a healthy weight
   – according to the World Health Organization we should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity — or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity — a week.
   – two or more days of strength training a week: gain lean muscle and lose bodyfat; increases bone density and keeps your body fit over time
Laugh a lot – O my gosh, laugh!!

Frequent Health Check-Ups – internal working of your ‘pipes’:
– Blood Pressure
– Blood Lipids

  1. Mental Assessments – do not dwell on:
    1. – Your age
    2. – Past grudges
    3. – Painful past
    4. – Pertinent to mental and being:
      • . True friends
      • . Love for family
      • . Positive thoughts
      • . Rest

If that doesn’t turn your petticoat around, consider this: when you don’t do for yourself the burden, of you, can get shifted to someone else (caring for you).  Be empathetic to yourself so you won’t fritter away someone’s being.

Your Mind Is The Most Powerful Healer Of Your Body: Regard Your Mind And Cultivate Your Body 

For it is the whole being that remains constant
Let the inspiration of wholesomeness govern
Be in it, sustain and delight in your fortunate being
